My main goal is to have a company that is very FOR THE PEOPLE. I am working harder everyday to do this in a few ways. These ways are listed below and will be updated as time goes on if needed, but let me tell you the main reason for having this belief. I strongly believe that a company should care about the customers/community. And not only that, but they should get their monies worth and know what they are getting if they are paying for something.
1) More Social: The best way to socialize with Gummy Den and the community is on the Discord server. There are also a Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, but those are not used as much. Or you could show up to a Twitch stream and talk in the chat. I also have a Youtube channel which will have content every now and then. Interacting with people is one thing I have loved so much and continue to love. So as much as possible I will interact and if I can't I will try to have someone at the company interact with you ASAP.
2) Free updates and DLC: I will not be charging people that get any games for any updates to the game. Updates will improve the game and could add content such as DLC, but I do not believe in charging people extra for it. If they bought the game they should get any new content without paying extra for it. This content could also include holiday and seasonal stuff added to the game. Just to clarify this does not mean I will never have stuff that a player can buy to add to the game, but for example if I add a Halloween level that would be FREE.
3) No Micro-transactions: Going back to the previous one, but a bit different. This is not based on updates, but rather games even day one when they are released. Since this is for the Players of all ages micro-transactions will not be included or used so that once you get the game you are set and don't need to have that feeling of wanting more stuff to win or for cosmetic purposes and needing to pay more money or beg your parents for more money to do it.
4) Fun Stuff: If anyone knows me they will tell you that I love to have fun. I am a hard worker, but fun is the best F word I know. Some fun things will be making non boring credits in a game (I will do my best, but they are credits), putting people who have funded or helped me or won a contest in the credits or on my website in a cool way, making fun and funny videos that entertain people. Basically to sum this up I do not want boring, but fun and funny and in one word ENTERTAINING.
5) Charities: When money starts streaming in I do not want to keep it all. I would love to not only donate to charity, but do charity events. One thing I already have in mind is doing a charity livestream. People would be playing Gummy Studios games and I would have videos, reveal secrets, reveal some fun facts, maybe even a trailer for new free content or something. While the stream is live people could donate some money that would go to charity. If the charity livestreams get popular enough I will even try to sell merchandise and donate most of the money that is out of profit to the charity so people will get something for donating.
6) Streaming/Let's Plays Policy: Being a Gaming Streamer myself helps to understand things from another point of view. If you have a big channel, a small channel, a serious channel, or just a channel for fun it does not matter to me. You have my full permission to use any game with sounds and music in your streams or videos. In fact let me know if you make something cool and I might just retweet it or even share it on gummystudios.com. I love to see people playing my creations. Also, just to be official you CAN monetize on the videos and streams you use the games in. In looking at everything I see that allowing people to use my content with no Copyright issues to deal with is a win win situation. They get to make worry free content and I get some more people seeing my content. Being an Indie Company is hard to get the word out you know! Finally, just so there is not confusion. You cannot re upload or sell anything that is owned by Gummy Studios.
